Cologne, February 21st 2025 – Cologne-based FinTech Aufinity Group, today announces that it is expanding its cooperation with automotive OEMs to the after-sales sector and is presenting an integrated payment solution for the European market. The first automobile manufacturer to fully integrate the solution is Mercedes-Benz AG. By combining the strengths of the Mercedes-Benz AG communication platform XENTRY Com and the payment platform Aufinity, a comprehensive and seamlessly integrated payment solution will be created that meets the high demands of customers and dealers.
The expertise of the Aufinity Group, the market leader for automotive payment in Germany, will help OEMs to standardize payment processing in the European market and lay the foundation for a scalable solution that guarantees consistently high payment processing quality in existing markets such as Germany, Spain and Italy, as well as in other expansion markets.
“The collaboration with OEMs marks a decisive step into the future of automotive payment management for us,” says Lasse Diener, CEO and co-founder of the Aufinity Group. “We are proud to be setting new standards together with such a renowned manufacturer as Mercedes-Benz AG. Manufacturers play a key role when it comes to offering solutions that are integrated into the system landscape - and this is exactly where we come in with bezahl.de. Our payment solution enables OEMs to offer their dealers and customers a seamless and efficient payment experience that also makes internal processes future-proof and more efficient. For us, this is just the beginning - we see huge potential for the coming years.”
The new solution combines the strengths of XENTRY Com, the central communication platform in the car manufacturer's after-sales area, and the innovative payment platform Aufinity. Both systems are optimally coordinated with each other, creating an efficient, seamless solution for dealers and customers. More than 1,000 car dealerships in Germany are already successfully using the payment solution of the Aufinity Group (under the German product name bezahl.de), while expansion into other European markets is already underway.
In future, customers will receive all information about their service order - from the payment invitation and confirmation to the collection date - via a complete integration of Aufinity in XENTRY Com. This gives them a seamless, brand-compliant experience across different end devices and ensures convenient and transparent processing. In addition, retailers benefit from the digitalization of their payment processes, which enables a significant reduction in administrative costs.
