NX Technologies GmbH celebrates 3-year anniversary: success story with a future
This year, NX Technologies GmbH (NXT) is celebrating its 3-year anniversary. In recent years, the start-up has professionalized itself and developed into an important, exemplary FinTech company, which is considered one of the leading providers of payment solutions for large sums of money. Growth and internationalization impressively document the success of NXT. With bezahl.de, the Cologne-based start-up offers the most modern payment process on the market — a success story “Made in Germany, Made in Cologne”.
Founded in 2018, the FinTech start-up started with an eight-person team and has grown significantly since then. Due to the high demand for a B2B solution, the first payment management platform for automotive retailers was created: bezahl.de. Every 3rd of the top 100 retail groups in Germany already relies on bezahl.de and thus benefits from the most efficient payment management on the market.
Processes are continuously optimized through product enhancements. With the introduction of smartkasse last year, payment in the service business is now also significantly simplified. Since then, in addition to smartphones, workshop invoices can also be paid independently, cashless and without personnel costs at self-service cash registers. In addition, in response to market demand, the Cologne-based FinTech start-up has developed a new, additional function for the intelligent payment platform bezahl.de, which makes it much easier for car dealerships to comply with their money laundering obligations.
Due to its high willingness to innovate, bezahl.de is now the leading system in the German automotive market. In addition, the first vertical from the healthcare sector and one of the leading automotive trade groups from Austria were acquired. The team is striving to both continue internationalization and open bezahl.de to other markets in a timely manner.
In addition to the rapid development of the product, the team led by the two founders and managing directors Lasse Diener and Ulrich Schmidt is constantly expanding. In 2020, the startup grew threefold and today has over 45 employees. In addition, NX Technologies GmbH has been recognized as a training company to secure the next generation of skilled workers and has thus already attracted two highly motivated trainees. As a result of this growth, many areas of the company have evolved and new additions have been added.
