Thumbs up — this is the balance sheet after five months of digital payment management with bezahl.de at Hans Brandenburg GmbH car dealerships. Further steps in digital payment processes are already being considered: The plan is to quickly expand the use of bezahl.de not only to the B2B business but also to stationary business with end customers.

BMW dealer Hans Brandenburg has been a BMW, MINI, BMWi, BMW M and KIA dealer at four locations since 1969. A success story steeped in tradition, which received an exciting and future-oriented expansion in summer 2019. Because on July 1, 2019, the company in Düsseldorf, Hilden, Mettmann and Dormagen launched bezahl.de as a digital payment management system.

After a three-month pilot phase, the pay.de team received clear feedback: “We are very happy with your all-in-one solution! ”. During a test phase of the bezahl.de process rocket, initially in B2B sales, Brandenburg only had positive experiences with the pioneering solution from the Cologne-based start-up. In addition to Hans Brandenburg, bezahl.de has already established cooperation with many leading car retail groups that want to automate and speed up their payment management.

A significant reduction in manual expenses in accounting was also achieved with bezahl.de, as the software solution uses a novel technology to make 0 errors in the allocation of payments to the respective sales — everything automated, everything in real time and easily accessible to all parties involved.

Expansion to retail business is just beginning

Based on the positive experience in commercial sales, managing director Ralf Brandenburg is now planning to expand the payment management platform bezahl.de to include stationary sales to end customers. In retail business, bezahl.de is also a real main prize for car dealerships; after all, maximum customer satisfaction is very important for top brands such as BMW. Of course, it helps a lot if, in addition to the classic bank transfer, the car buyer can pay for their car directly via smartphone at bezahl.de conveniently and without registration and receives an automated payment confirmation without calling the sales consultant, regardless of the payment method.
